Breathing new life into a Grade II listed House in Mayfair, London
In 1927 this c.1787 Grade II listed Georgian terrace house in Marylebone was extended into the mews behind. Then in the 1980s it was stripped out by the US Embassy to house a military attaché. The result was the loss of the original room arrangement and of much of the Georgian detailing. Our challenge was to give this building back its Georgian identity and turn it into a family home.
