Sarah was one of the presentors at the ASCHB annual conference on Friday 1 April, held at Vauxall St Peters, London.

Her talk was part of the afternoon session on climate adaptation. Her talk was on Buildings in use: dealing with discomfort. She explained the basics of thermal comfort, then proceeded to explain thermal comfort adaptation through the ages in Britain. Finally, she explained how she used the lessons learned through history, to devise suitable passive measures for her experiment at Bedford Square, and lessons learnt from it. She also took part in the plenary: learning as we ago at the end. The entire conference was video recorded as well, and will be available soon on ASCHB’s website.
