Fitting into the arts programme to enhance Ram Quarter’s cultural offer, the project provides a viable solution to the vacant site addressing the sensitive setting through the creation of a working brewery linked to a taproom and a heritage centre/shop within the historic location. Roger Mears Architects have recently completed the fit-out works at this heritage site. As Britain’s oldest continuously operating brewery steps into the 21st century, the production of beer is once again ramping up in anticipation of its discovery by the rest of the world!
