We hosted the 2019 SPAB Repair of Old Buildings Course at St Leonard’s Shoreditch on Wednesday 9th October, and also earlier in the year in May, seeing the progress of the West Facade repair project.

Site visits are a key part of the course, allowing delegates to see how the principles discussed in the lectures are applied, or not, in the real world. Importantly, the course provides an opportunity to meet like-minded professionals to share information and experiences with.

Our presentation focued on our recent conservation project to the West Elevation and Portico, including the restoration of the Clock faces and repairs to the Spire. We also discussed about future projects aimed to breath new life into this important London landmark.
