Marta Bartroli joined Roger Mears Architects in October 2021 as a Senior Architectural Technologist.

After graduating at University Polytechnic of Catalunya in Barcelona, her interest in conservation and restoration of historic buildings drove her to undertake a Master course in Architectural Conservation at the Edinburgh College of Art (UK). She later gained experience working for various Conservation Architects practices, included Historic Scotland, as well as being involved in new built and refurbishing residential projects later in her career gaining considerable experience delivering projects on site.

Her profile is quite versatile, and she is skilled on working on all ranges of different building types and she has experience working through all RIBA stages from inception to completion in all fields, new build, conservation and refurbishments.

Her technical background gives her an edge on construction detailing and project coordination of all the different consultants in the design team as well Building Regulation compliance to deliver completion on site, while understanding the different constraints of the site and its historical importance.
