Country House, Cotswold: spaces
The extended nature of the house meant that it was important for movement through it to be a pleasant experience. Opportunities were taken wherever possible to provide varied spaces and vistas, together with places just to sit and enjoy them.
A double height garden room forms the heart to the new building, with a gallery at first floor level giving access to bedrooms and views into the entrance courtyard. Sliding doors open out into the family room behind.
