Church, Carmarthenshire

The roof of this 14th century twin-aisled church was letting in water, rotting the feet of the roof trusses and causing damage to internal finishes. The oak trusses and twin barrel vaults were repaired and strengthened, the valley gutter was relined in lead and the roof was recovered in slate. Disfiguring cement render was removed from the gables, the stonework was repointed and the interior was replastered, all using largely unskilled labour.
